There will be a session at the upcoming ECIS conference in Sorrento on the ILMP as follows:

Saturday 29th March 2008
1400 – 1445

The International Leadership and Management Program (ILMP): Sustaining Leadership and Improving Learning.

Part One
In February earlier this year, over 40 senior leaders

from international schools met in Brussels for the residential part of the ILMP. Come along to the first part of this session to find out why so many leaders have joined the highly successful program and what they are gaining in terms of their leadership and learning. You will hear about the leadership research evidence beginning to come out of the program and about ways to sustain leadership in your school. You will also hear some details about the program and how it could contribute to your learning and leadership development.

Participants are invited to stay for refreshments immediately following Part One of this session and to stay for Part Two.

The International Leadership and Management Program (ILMP) For Middle Leaders

Part Two
Are you a leader and manager of a subject, team, phase or aspect in your international school?

As a senior leader, do you employ colleagues in some of these roles?

If the answer is yes to either of these questions, then this is your opportunity to hear about a new, innovative program specially designed and developed to meet the needs of your school, your students and you.

In response to many queries, the ILMP ML has been developed by the team responsible for the ILMP (ECIS, National Association of Head Teachers and Fieldwork Education). The ILMP for Middle Leaders will begin its first cohort in November 2008 – so come along and hear how you and your school can be part of that first group.
